Gardai appeal for witnesses to vicious gang assault on teenage boy in Kilkenny city
KILKENNY gardai have re-issued an appeal for dashcam footage following the vicious gang assault of a teenage boy which left him with a broken jaw.
The brutal assault took place in the New Orchard Road area of Kilkenny at around 4.45pm on Sunday.
The young boy was set upon by a number of youths and gardai are now requesting anyone who may have been in the area at that time and who has a dashcam to come forward.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the victim suffered cuts and bruises, and a broken jaw, after he was attacked by “a group of youths”.
Kilkenny gardai are urging potential eyewitnesses or cars that may have dashcam footage of the incident to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
