Homeless at Christmas: Kilkenny gardai make festive donation to Good Shepherd Centre
Big-hearted local gardai did their bit for the local homeless when they dropped into the Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny this week with a donation of food and festive treats.
Community gardai Lisa Kelly and Matt Kennedy are pictured above at the centre shortly after dropping in the Christmas donation.
A Garda spokesperson said: “The Good Shepherd centre has provided stalwart support to Kilkenny homeless and those at risk of homelessness. It aims to return people to independent living. Happy Christmas to all staff and residents.”
