House ransacked during daylight burglary in Kilkenny city
A house was ransacked after been broken into in broad daylight in Kilkenny.
The break-in occurred at a house on College Road between 3pm and 5pm on Monday afternoon.
The burglars gained access by breaking a window at rear of the house.
Once inside the burglars turned the house over but it appears they left empty-handed.
Witnesses or anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
