By COLIN BARTLEY

A KILKENNY business organisation is asking retailers in the city to get involved in a project aimed at understanding the issues facing their industry.

Kilkenny Chamber is conducting an online survey to analyse the on-going changes in the dynamic of the retail industry in Kilkenny City.

Chief Executive Officer of Kilkenny Chamber, John Hurley said the online survey is to connect with and gather the opinions of traders.

Speaking with KilkennyNow.ie, Mr Hurley said: “The survey will ask people in the retail industry their views on various topics affecting the sector.”

“So far we have received a very good response, with nearly 30 retailers indicating they want to get involved.

“We will be collating the information we receive back from the businesses, before putting forward ways of managing the results.
