LATEST: No Kilkenny infections among 368 new cases of virus as 14 further deaths confirmed

A further 14 people have died after contracting the coronavirus as 368 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.

There have been no new cases recorded in Kilkenny for the first time in two weeks.

The overall death toll as a result of the virus has now reached 4,681. There have now been 235,444 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).

The breakdown of the latest cases is as follows: 127 are in Dublin, 34 in Kildare, 26 in Meath, 21 in Limerick, 19 in Offaly with the remaining 141 cases are spread across 18 other counties.
