Look familiar? Stolen power tools recovered by gardai on public display

LOCAL gardai are trying to reunite these valuable tools with their rightful owners.

Gardaí from the Kilkenny-Carlow division recovered an estimated €92,000 worth of expensive hardware, including power tools, generators, building tools and gardening equipment, during a search of a property recently.

Several homes and businesses throughout Kilkenny and Carlow have been targeted by a criminal gang believed to be behind the robberies in recent weeks and months.

In an effort to have the property identified, the tools are on public display at a premises on O’Brien Road, Carlow (Eircode R93 F2P3) today between 9am and 6pm.

A Garda spokesperson said: “If you have been the victim of a crime in which such property has been stolen you are invited to come and view the property.”
