Man (33) charged with murder of Kilkenny father-of-five
A man has been charged in connection to the murder of dad-of-five Liam O’Sullivan (46) in Kilkenny city.
Gareth Smith (33) was charged this morning after a Garda probe into Mr O’Sullivan’s death, which occurred on the Castlecomer Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Smith, of St Fiacc’s Terrace, Graigcullen, Co Carlow, appeared before Kilkenny District Court at noon today.
He was remanded in custody at Cloverhill Prison. He is due to appear before court again next week.
