Brazen thieves remove roof during break-in at county Kilkenny village
The roof was taken off a shed during an attempted break-in at a premises in a county Kilkenny village.
The incident occurred at a storage shed in Newtown, Bonnettstown on the outskirts of Kilkenny city between 6pm on Thursday and 9am on Friday last
Galvanised sheeting had been torn away from the roof of the shed but no entry was gained and nothing was taken.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area around that time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
