Drugs bust in Kilkenny city centre, young man arrested after Garda raid

A KILKENNY man in his twenties is to appear in court after being caught with drugs during the course of a Garda raid.
An estaimed €3,500 worth of cannabis and drugs paraphernalia was discovered in a house off Parliament Street during a planned raid by gardai on Wednesday evening.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene. He was taken to Kilkenny Garda Station where he was charged under the misuse of drugs act with intent to sell or supply.
He is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court soon.
