Man charged with murder of school teacher Ashling Murphy
Gardai have charged a man in connection in connection with the fatal assault of Tullamore teacher Ashling Murphy.
The man, aged in his 30s, is appearing before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court tonight.
Gardai also confirmed this evening that a second male arrested under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 has been released without charge from Garda custody. A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
