Man rushed to hospital after his bike crashed into parked lorry in Kilkenny
A man was rushed to St Luke’s General Hospital today after his bicycle crashed into a parked truck on the outskirts of Kilkenny city.
The incident occurred at around 2pm on the Kilkenny ring road neat the Castlecomer roundabout.
The crash caused some traffic delays in the area at the time, but gardai soon cleared the area and the congestion eased.
The injured man, who is in his 40s, was treated at St Luke’s Hospital. However, his injuries were not thought to be serious.
