‘Mean minded vandalism’ – thieves steal flowers from pots outside home in Kilkenny
Vandals ripped up and stole flowers that had been caringly potted outside a home in Kilkenny city.
Gardai confirmed they are investigating the “mean minded vandalism” that occurred outside a house in the John’s Quay area of the city over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the mean minded vandalism and theft of flowers from pots outside a home on John’s Quay in Kilkenny. The tulips, pictured before and after were a beautiful display that added colour to the Quay.
“It is thought that the culprits left the area either through the Peace Park or Barrack Lane at the rear of the library.”Potential witnesses or anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 7775 000.
