Men seen jumping from back of lorry parked in Kilkenny village still at large, truck in Garda custody

The search is still on for a group of men seen jumping from the container of a truck when it was parked up in a county Kilkenny village earlier this week.

The incident occurred at 1.30pm on Monday afternoon in Knocktopher. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the men jumping out the back of the lorry that had parked outside a premises in the village.

Gardai confirmed to KilkennyNow.ie that the men have still not been located and that their investigations are continuing.

The truck the men jumped from on Monday after arrived into the country via Rosslare Port on Sunday, October 18.

The container remains in Garda custody while undergoing technical examinations.
