Aldi Play Rugby Ambassador, the Ireland and Munster legend Paul O’Connell said: “This year has presented huge challenges for parents, teachers and students alike and it is highlighted I think the importance of sport for our wellbeing irrespective of our age. Congratulations to all the schools that took part.”

The overall winners were Tara Hill National School, in Gorey, county Wexford and Scoil Naomh Bríd,  Kiltegan, county  Wicklow, who both received €50,000.
