REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Askew (nee Nolan) (Oaklawns, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny and late of Ballyvalden, Castlewarren, Co. Kilkenny and Windermere, UK) 6th November 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anne (Annie), beloved wife of the late Norman, sadly missed by her sister-in-law Mai Nolan, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of Public Health, a private family funeral will take place for Annie, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Sunday morning, November 8th, at 11.30am in the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown (max of 25 people in church) followed by interment in the Holy Family Cemetery, Paulstown.

Donohoe, Tom, (Talbots Inch, Kilkenny and formerly of Ballybur) 6th November 2020, peacefully, at home, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, beloved son of the late Michael, deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Jo, brothers Pat, Mike and Johnny, sisters Kay, Mary and Ann, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandniece, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of Public Health, a private family funeral will take place for Tom, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Sunday November 8th, at 12 noon in St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny (max of 25 people in Church). Interment afterwards in Cuffesgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Carlow Kilkenny Homecare Team.

Garry McCarthy (Formally Milford, Co Cork) peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Liz). Sadly missed by his loving family, Bernadette, Eddie, Margaret, Garry, Michael, Gregory, Finbar, John, Ray, Maria, Oliver and Kieran, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends.

In keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Requiem mass for family only (25 people) will be at St Kieran’s Church, Johnstown on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Johnstown cemetery. As per Covid guidelines, please comply with social distancing and face covering at the graveyard.

Reidy (nee Lawlor) (College Gardens, Kilkenny) 6th November 2020, peacefully, at home, in the tender care of her family, Ellen (Eileen), beloved wife of the late James and much loved mother of Finbarr and Gar, sadly missed by her loving sons, sister Peg, daughter-in-law Angela, granddaughters Jane and Karen and their husbands Paul and David, great-grandsons Shay and Dillon, sister-in-law Angela, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private Requiem Mass for Breeda’s family will be celebrated on Saturday (Nov. 7th) at 12 noon in the Prince of Peace Church, Fossa, Killarney (max. 25 people in the church), followed by interment in the Old Cemetery Aghadoe. Family flowers only please.
