REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Joan Doyle, Milestone House, Brothers Of Charity, Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford, Late of Main Street, Enniscorthy and L&N House, Ferrybank Who died on Wednesday, 10th February 2021 peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford, Predeceased by parents Fonsie and Nancy (Nee O’Dwyer) and her brother Pat. Joan will be sadly missed by her sisters Margaret (Olds), Annette (Galvin), Pauline and Rita (O’Shea), brother Jim, his partner Claire, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Aileen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Joan’s removal will take place on Saturday, 13th February, walking from her sister Rita’s home, St. Killian’s Place, Ferrybank at 9.45am to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

1 February 2021, Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes. Peacefully, at home in the care of her family. Mary, beloved wife of the late John; devoted mother of Bríd, Joe and Nora; proud and loving grandmother of Rachel, Joseph, Elizabeth, Eva, Ailbhe and Isobel; sister of Tom Kinsella, Ballasalla, Johnswell and the late Paul, Kitty, John, Peggy, Eileen and Breda. Mary will be deeply missed by her son, daughters, grandchildren, brother, son-in-law Martin, daughter-in-law Sandra, Joe’s partner Teresa, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to current Government guidelines with regard to Covid 19, Mary’s funeral Mass and burial will take place privately.

At his residence, in the tender care of his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Chrissie, and adored father of Joe, Miriam, Paula, Christine, Noelle and Majella. Idolised grandad of Lauren, Jamie, Leanne, Emma, Rhys, Corey and Tadgh. Sadly missed by his brother P.J., sisters Mary, Carmel and Josephine, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Margaret, brother Liam, sisters Margaret and Nancy.

HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE

Due to current Government/HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer with Requiem Mass on Saturday, 13th February at 11am (max. of 10 family members in the Church and cemetery). For those unable to attend the Requiem Mass can be viewed online at www.castlecomerparish.ie

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so, are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section here. This will be greatly appreciated by the family who would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time.
