Collins (nee Stapleton) (Fr. Albert Place, Kilkenny) 22nd May 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bridget (Bridie), beloved wife of the late Sean and much loved mother of Frank, Marie, Tom, Anne and Ger, sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Eddie, daughters-in-law Susan, Alma and Corinna, grandchildren Selena, Jenny, Peter, Ian, Gary, Keith, Derek, Adrian, Brian and Gillian, great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Bridie’s family would like to thank in a special way the staff at Tinnypark Nursing Home for the wonderful care and attention shown to their mother over the last number of months.
In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health a private funeral for family and close friends will take place for Bridie, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Monday (24th May) at 11am in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny (max of 50 in church). Interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery. House private please.

Mary MARTIN (née Clarke)
Kilroe, Ballylooby, Tipperary/Kilkenny
Mary, formerly of Assumption Place, Kilkenny died peacefully in at Waterford University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Michael, she will be sadly missed by the Martin family, Robbie, Frankie, Mary, Jack, Joe, Karen and Tommy, adored great grandchildren Austin and Riley, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Costigan’s Funeral Home, Cahir on Sunday evening from 4pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass in St. Kieran’s Church, Ballylooby for family and close friends on Monday at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
As current HSE guidelines allow, 50 people may be at the Funeral Mass. Please adhere to all current guidelines with regards to social distancing and face coverings. If you would like to leave a message of sympathy for Mary’s family, please use the condolence link here.
