REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Brigid LENNON (née Coogan)
Ballinaboola, Maddoxtown

Lennon (nee Coogan) (Ballinaboola, Maddoxtown, Co. Kilkenny and late of Uskerty, Coon) 27th May 2021, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family, Brigid, beloved wife of the late Sean and much loved mother of Ann Jim, Sheila, Jack, Breda, Mag, Paula, Thomas and Patrick, sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Lil, Maggie and Kathleen, brothers Jimmy and Ned, sons-in-law Mark, John, Larry and Gabbo, daughters-in-law Maria, Marian and Joanne, her beloved 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, former work colleagues and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health a private funeral for family and close friends will take place for Brigid, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Saturday (29th May) at 11.30 am in St. Kieran’s Church, Tullaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private please.

For those unable to attend due to restrictions, a recording of the Requiem Mass may be viewed online from 6pm on Saturday/

Joan POWER (née Power)

Formerly of Miltown, Piltown, Templeorum, County Kilkenny. Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Michael, sisters Breda and Patricia, brothers William and Pat, sister-in-law Rita, brother-in-law Senan, niece Laura, nephews Sean and Conor, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Saturday at Donnacha Doyle & Son’s Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Arriving on Sunday at The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin for Requiem Mass at 1:00pm. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary RYAN (née NÉE O’NEILL)

Mary Ryan (nee O’Neill)
Bishopsgrove, Ferrybank, & Late of Poleberry, Waterford
who died on Thursday, 27th May 2021.

Peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her parents John and Catherine, brothers Thomas and Michael, Sisters Pat (O’Neill) and Rita (O’Neill). Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughters Gemma (Lyng) and Sarah (Ryan), sons-in-law Shane and Simon, grandchildren Jack, Róisín, Simon, Éadaoin and Mary-Jane, brother Bill, sister Kathleen McDonald, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, all the staff and friends at Havenwood Nursing Home, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours and friends.

Mary’s removal will take place on Monday, 31st May, walking from her home at 9.40am (via Marymount) to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
