Peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Friday 23rd July 2021.

Deeply regretted by his wife Ann, sister Ann, brother-in-law Joe, all his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Paul is continuing his life philosophy, by donating his body for medical research. Messages of sympathy can be left on the condolence link here.

Newpark Lawn, Kilkenny City/Dundrum, Tipperary

Pat Crowe (M.R.C.V.S.) (Newpark Lawn, Kilkenny and late of Dundrum, Co. Tipperary) July 20th 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Alva and the late Mary, much loved father of Eugene, Giovanna, Gregory, Patrick and Morgan. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family, brother Austin, daughters-in-law Colette and Theresa, grandchildren Martin, Bevin, Alwynne, Shauna, Senan and Heather, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Willie and Jack and his sister Phyllis (O’Dwyer).

In accordance with current government restrictions a private Requiem Mass for Pat will be celebrated on Monday (July 26th) at 11a.m in St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown (max. 50 people) followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Hartley, Desart, Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of Geraldine and staff at Strathmore Lodge Nursing Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny on Friday, 23rd July, 2021.

Predeceased by his daughter Breda. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Eileen, daughter Marie, son John, son-in-law Pat, John’s partner Rose, grandchildren David, Jamie, Jason and Farraha, great grandchildren Cillian, Saoirse and Sophia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to current Level 5, HSE and Government restrictions, Paddy’s Funeral will take place privately (for 50 mourners only). Paddy’s Funeral Cortege will leave Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Monday morning (26th July 2021) arriving to St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe for Requiem Mass, at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.

Mary McENERY (née Quirke)

McEnery (nee Quirke) (8 Magdalen Court, Maudlin Street, Kilkenny) 23rd July 2021, peacefully, at Strathmore Lodge Nursing Home, Callan, Mary, beloved wife of the late John and much loved mother of Carol and John, sadly missed by her daughter and son, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Tommy, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines a private funeral for family and close friends will take place. Requiem Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (27th July) at 11.30am in St. John’s Church, Kilkenny (max 50 people), with interment afterwards in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

Maura McGINTY (née Hickey)

Maura McGinty (née Hickey), (Glendine Heights, Kilkenny) July 22nd 2021 at Archersrath Nursing Home. Beloved wife of John and much loved mother of Sheena, Niall, Eoghan and Orna. She will be sadly missed by her brothers James and Bob, sisters Kate and Margaret, sons-in-law Niall (Moore) and Michael (O’Hanlon), daughter-in-law Rhiannon (Davies) and grandchildren Liam, Faye, Rory, Sean, Niall, Tomos and Robert, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

A private celebration of Maura’s life will take place on Monday (July 26th) at 4p.m. in the Victorian Chapel of Mount Jerome Crematorium followed by cremation.
