Scenic county Kilkenny trail closed after giant tree uproots during stormy weather
A riverside section of one of the most popular walking trails in county Kilkenny has been temporarily closed after a mighty oak was uprooted during stormy weather.
The section of the Woodstock Loop Walk at Inistioge was shut off after the tree crashed onto the walkway beside the River Nore, blocking access for hikers and people using the trail.
