Search resumes in Kilkenny following reports of person going into river
A search has resumed this morning following reports that a man went into the River Nore early yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to reports yesterday that a man went into the river close to John’s Bridge in Kilkenny at around lunchtime yesterday.
The gardai rushed to the scene and were assisted at the search site by the Coastguard Helicopter, the local fire services and local Civil Defence. Despite their best efforts, the services did not discover any persons.
The search continues today. More details to follow.
