Several speeding motorists clocked over the limit on Kilkenny motorway
Several motorists were clocked driving over the speed limited by Kilkenny gardai just hours after they had given road safety talks at a number of local schools.
The speeding motorists were clcoked on the M9 motorway on Friday.
A locla Garda spokesperson confirmed: “This morning Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit called to a number of schools in Kilkenny for road safety talks. This evening they were back on the M9 Motorway where they detected a number of vehicles travelling in excess of the speed limit. Keep safe on the roads, reduce your speed, wear your seat belt, don’t hold your mobile or text while driving, never drive while under the influence of an intoxicant.”
