Thieves break into back of Kilkenny Spar in botched bid to snatch cash from ATM
GARDAI for hunting for at least two suspects who attempted to take cash from an ATM in the back of a shop and petrol station in county Kilkenny over the weekend.
The thieves broke into the rear of O’Hare’s Spar in Johnstown at around 5am yesterday.
They proceeded to try to take cash from an ATM in the shop, but the gungling burglars didn’t succeed and fled empty handed.
Gardai are appealing to any potential eywitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Johnstown area at the time to come forward and assist their investigation.
