Thieves break into farm outside Kilkenny city, large haul of equipment stolen

Thives broke in to a county Kilkenny farm before making off with a haul of expensive hardware and equipment.

The break-in occurred at Aghenderry, Cuffesgrange, sometime between 7.30pm last Thursday and 8am on Friday morning.

A local Garda spokesperson confirmed the door of a shed on the property was forced open and several valuable tools and equipment were taken.

These include a Yanmar power washer, a cattle box, a Stihl consaw, an Esco chainsaw and various other tools.

Gardai have urged eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
