Thieves make off with lawnmower and bikes after break-in at Kilkenny village
An expensive lawnmower and two bicycles were taken during a break-in of a house in county Kilkenny earlier this week.
The incident happened at a property in Danesfort between 10pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
The burglars firstly broke into a stable on the property and stole a red Honda HRX self-propelled lawnmower, which retail for more than €1,000.
Deciding that was not enough, the burglars then entered another shed on the property and stole two bikes.
