Three Kilkenny properties fetch over €1m this year

Three properties in Kilkenny sold for over €1 million year despite the pandemic.
A house in Thomastown topped the list after it exchanged hands for €1,420,000. At the other end of the scale, a house in Graiguenamangh sold for just €10,000.
The Residential Property Price Register shows another property in Kilkenny city and a house in Gowran also exceeded the magic €1 million marker so far in 2020.
The report shows all residential purchases for the first nine months of 2020. In the first nine months of 2019, no property in Kilkenny exceeded €1 million. The highest price paid during this period was €794,000 for a home in Kells.
So far this year, a property in Ayrefield, Kilkenny fetched €1,350,000, the same figure as a home in Noresland in Stoneyford.
The highest price paid for a home so far this year in county Kilkenny is €1,420,000 for a house in Fox Covert in Thomastown.
The lowest price for a Kilkenny property was the €10,000 paid for a property on Killeen Lane in Graiguenamangh, while another property at Poulacapple in Callan was sold for just €15,000.
