Two arrested after gardai went to aid of neglected horse in Kilkenny city
Two men were arrested after gardai came to the aid to this neglect horse in Kilkenny city.
Gardai intervened yesterday after they noticed the animal was limping “with a nasty leg injury” in the city yesterday.
Two men who attempted to prevent the gardai from inspecting the neglected horse were arrested at the scene.A Garda spokesperson confirmed afterwards: “The horse which was limping with a nasty leg injury [and] is now being attended to. Two males who interfered with Garda enforcement of the 2013 Animal Welfare Act were arrested for obstruction.”
