Two ‘hills’ come out on top at Keep Kilkenny Beautiful Awards

TWO estates, just off the Ring Road, were the big winners at the Keep Kilkenny Beautiful Awards 2019.

Rose Hill, just off the Kells Road, was named as the best overall larger residential estate in Kilkenny, while Gallows Hill, off the Bennettsbridge Road, won the best overall smaller residential estate in Kilkenny.

Patrick Street was awarded Kilkenny street of the year.

The winners were announced at the award show in Springhill Court Hotel on Tuesday evening.

A full list of winners is as follows:

Best commercial floral display winner – Hotel Kilkenny

Most improved commercial premises winner  – The Hungry Moose, John Street

Best shop front winner – Brennan’s Bottling Store, Walkin Street

Best shop signage winner – Food For Life, Kieran Street

Best Kilkenny hospitality award – Hibernian Hotel, Patrick Street

Best Commercial Centre winner – Kilkenny Retail & Business Park

Award for evening premises display – Bridie’s, 72 John Street

Entrepreneur awards – Kilkenny Boat Tours and Kilkenny Segway  Tours
