UPDATE: Body found in Malaysian rainforest confirmed as Nóra Quoirin
THE BODY discovered in a rainforest in Malaysia earlier today is that of Nóra Quoirin, her family has confirmed.
Nóra’s body was discovered next to a stream just two-kilometres away from the resort in which the family was staying.
The 15-year-old disappeared ten days ago from a rainforest resort in Dusun, about 70km south of Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Authorities in Ireland and in Malaysia have asked for privacy for Nóra’s family at this time.
