Busted: Gardai seize €30,000 worth of cocaine during search of premises in Callan
GARDAI have seized €30,000 worth of cocaine during a search of a premises in Callan.
Gardai said the bust yesterday evening was part of the “ongoing targeting of illegal drugs in Kilkenny and Carlow” by members of the Kilkenny/Carlow Drugs Unit.
One person has been arrested in connection with the seizure.
They were questioned and detained at Kilkenny Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
