Kilkenny and ‘Sunny South East’ to live up to its name this week
By COLIN BARTLEY
For a couple of days at least we are going to get the best of the weather, but expect a few thunderstorms this week too.
Today, the remnants of the wild conditions of the last couple of days will clear, but it is expected to be hot.
The next couple of days looks like being scorchers, with temperatures hitting 26 or 2degrees.
Today the clouds will clear and then the sun will come out, and there is a chance of temperatures hitting 25 degrees just after lunch.
Tomorrow will be as good as it gets. It will be sunny, calm winds, and hot with thermometers hitting at least 26 degrees.
Wednesday however, will see a return to unsettled and balmy weather, with even a thunderstorm throw in on Thursday or Friday.
So get out now and enjoy it while it lasts.
