Brace yourself – More nasty weather on the way as Kilkenny to be battered by wind and rain

Heavy rains and strong winds are set to hit Kilkenny over the next 24 hours according to the most recent weather advisory issued by the national weather forecaster.
More than an inch of rain and winds of up to 80kph are expected to reach Kilkenny in the early hours of the morning and persist throughout the day.
Met Éireann has issued a Yellow Status Rainfall Warning from midnight tonight until midnight on Thursday.
The national forecastef expects “rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm with some localized flooding”.
The online weather forecaster Windy.com expects the worst of the weather sometime tomorrow morning, with winds between 70kph and 80kph starting from 6am onwards and the worst of the rain from 10am onwards.
