Burglar breaks into home in Kilkenny city, ransacks house and shed
A BURGLAR broke into a home in Kilkenny city overnight and ranscaked the property.
The break-in occurred at a house in MacDonagh Street at around 3.30am on Thursday.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “Entry was gained via a back window, a bedroom and the shed were ranscaked, nothing was taken.”
Gardai have asked potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
