Cocaine, cannabis and large stash of cash seized in raids in Kilkenny and Carlow during Christmas week
Gardai from the Kilkenny-Carlow division discovered thousands of euros worth of drugs during separate raids this week.
Around €7,000 of cannabis herb was seized after officers swooped on a house in Kilkenny city on Christmas Eve.
A man who was arrested at the scene has since been charged with the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Carlow a large amount of cocaine, valued at several thousands of euros, was seized by gardai along with a significant amount of cash.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene and taken to Carlow Garda Station for questioning.
