€1,000 of ‘drugs’ seized in planned raid on house in Kilkenny city
GARDAI seized €1,000 of suspected illegal drugs during a planned search of a house in Kilkenny city.
Uniformed and plain clothes officers from Kilkenny Garda Station carried out the search on warrant in the Clongowan area of the city last Saturday evening.
Suspected drugs valued at €1,000 were discovered at the property.
A 19-year-old suspect was questioned at the scene, however no arrests were made.
The suspected drugs have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Dublin for testing.
A file on the matter has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
