Engagement ring found in Kilkenny cathedral
An engagement ring has been found at St Mary’s Cathedral in Kilkenny.
Gardai have issued a public appeal in a bid to reunite the rung with its owners.
A local Garda spokesperson urged anyone with information about the ring or its potential owner to contact Kilkenny station on 056 777 5000, jokingly adding: “Hurry up before one of the lads proposes with it!”
A few members of the public joined in the fun. One woman said: “Maybe someone left it there deliberately, saw the light …”
