Gardai probe link between house burglaries in Kilkenny city

Gardai are investigating a potential link between two burglaries in Kilkenny city.

In the first incident, a house on the Circular Road was broken into sometime between 3pm and 5.45pm on Monday.

A local Garda source confirmed the burglars gained access after forcing open a door at rear of the house. They then ransacked the house but it appears they left without taking anything.

Gardai are also investigating a separate break-in at a house on the College Road which occurred around the same time.
