Green light for 44 new family homes in Kilkenny city

Kilkenny County Council has given the go ahead for the construction of 44 new family homes on the outskirts of the city.

The new housing development at Rath Ullord, New Orchard, Newtown on the Bonnettsrath Road is an extension of a scheme currently under construction at the same location.

Permission was granted to Wexford based company, Madill Property Limited, to proceed with the scheme last week.

Once completed, the new housing development will consist of four five-bedroom houses and 40 four-bedroom homes.
