Kilkenny and Tipp legends resume battle to raise funds for brave Amanda

KILKENNY hurling legends will resume battle with some of their oldest rivals on the pitch to raise funds for a young woman battling a brain tumour.

Henry Shefflin, JJ Delaney and Jackie Tyrrell will come face-to-face with their old Tipperary foes, including Eoin Kelly and Brendan Cummins, for the first time in years for the charity game, which takes place in Borrisoleigh at 6pm.

The game has been organised to raise funds for Amanda Stapleton, the sister of former Tipperary All-Ireland champion Paddy, who has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumour.
