who died on Friday 24th September 2021
Peacefully at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Billy and Ellen (Burke), brother Jerry. Breda will be sadly missed her loving husband Jimmy, son Michael, daughter Jean (O’Sullivan), her grandsons Kyle and Jake, brothers Billy, Paul and Danny, sisters Peggy (Egan), Anastasia (Roche) and Vicky (Costello), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Breda will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Sunday 26th September from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, Breda’s removal will take place on Monday 27th September to St. Senan’s Church, Kilmacow (via her home) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Due to H.S.E. guidelines the Funeral Mass and burial will be private to the immediate family and close friends. We suggest using the online condolence page here as an option to offer your sympathies. Thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time.

Sr. Hilary Hennessy (Loreto Convent, Granges Road, Kilkenny and late of Gurtussa, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary). September 25th 2021. Predeceased by her parents John and Lizzie, sister Bridie, brother David and sister-in-law Carmel. Deeply regretted by her Loreto Sisters, her brothers Jim, Pat and Noel, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass for Sr. Hilary will be celebrated on Monday (Sept. 27th) at 11a.m. in St. Canice’s Church (50% capacity of the church) followed by interment in the Convent Cemetery.
