Speed demon clocked doing just under 200km/h on Kilkenny road
A speeding motorists was clock doing 198km/h on the motorway in county Kilkenny.
A local Garda spokesperson said ‘dangerous driving proceedings’ will follow after members of Thoamstown Road Policing Unit caught the motorist driving just under 200km/h on the M9.
Meanwhile, just further up the motorway another driver was clocked doing speeds of 202km/h.
Gardai have again urged motorists to slow down and drive safe.
