Cruel thieves steal blankets from ponies, leaves them shivering in county Kilkenny field
HEARTLESS thieves stole blankets from the backs of ponies, leaving them standing cold in a county Kilkenny field.
The theft occurred at Warrington, Kilkenny overnight sometime between 9pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “Blankets were stolen from ponies in a field in the Warrington area overnight.”
Gardai have urged potential eyewitnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
