Vandals attack county Kilkenny home, smash every window on property

A DISTRAUGHT county Kilkenny householder returned home to discover all the windows of his home had been smashed in.

The windows of his car and a caravan that was on the property were also broken while he was away.

The vandals caused thousands of euros of damage in the attack, which occurred in the Ballyfoyle area sometime between Thursday and Friday.

Kilkenny gardai said nothing was stolen and that the house was the only property in the area that was targeted.

They have urged anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
