Warning as seven drivers clocked way over speed limit at Kilkenny village
Seven motorists were clocked doing speeds of more than 75km/h in a 50km/h zine in a Kilkenny village.
The speeding motorists were snared by members of the Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit conducting speed checks in Johnstown yesterday.
Gardai confirmed fines have been issued to all of the drivers.
A local Garda spokesperson urged motorists to “please slow down”, adding: “There are increased numbers of cyclists and pedestrians exercising during the school holidays.”
