Thief stole motorbike outside house in Kilkenny city as owner slept

A MOTORBIKE was stolen from outside the front door of a Kilkenny house as the owner slept.

The theft occurred on New Building Lane early on Friday morning.

The owner parked up the 2010-reg black and white Honda late on Thursday night.

At noon the next day he went outside and was stunned to discover his bike had been stolen.

Kilkenny gardai are investigating the theft.

They have urged eyewitnesses or anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
