WATCH: Ted! Tullaroan stars go that extra ‘Furlong’ in support of Taggy’s dancing

With senior status safely in the bag and an All-Ireland Intermediate title proudly displayed in the clubhouse, the Tullaroan hurlers must be content with the season they had.

Well NO!

It seems some of the lads including Kilkenny legend Tommy Walsh and his brothers Padraig, Martin and Shane are getting itchy feet in the off season and have channelled their inner Father Ted to support Tommy’s former inter-county colleague, Aidan ‘Taggy’ Fogarty, currently brewing up a storm on RTÉ’s Dancing with the Stars.

The lads hilariously have taken up some form of dancing – the Father Noel Furlong kind from Father Ted all in support of Taggy.

In the video the Tullaroan boys uploaded to social media, Padraig tries to find brother Tommy and a few more of the lads in the snow.

Noticing a bit of noise coming out of a caravan – he opens the door to see Tommy and three or four others going full Father Noel Furlong (played by Graham Norton) and his folk group, going hard at a Riverdance like the hilarious scene in Father Ted.

Tommy tells the camera they have been inspired by Taggy to take up the dancing before Padraig gives out the number to vote for the legendary Kilkenny forward.

See what happens when training gets called off!
